Ministry of Bread in Action!

The Ministry of Bread group met before Thanksgiving to lovingly prepare over 170 loaves of Cranberry Orange Loaves to be distributed to patrons of the Norfolk Food Pantry. The delectable loaves were a perfect accompaniment to the Thanksgiving meal supplies distributed by the Food Pantry. They were thoroughly enjoyed by all!

Norfolk’s Ministry of Bread is an informal group of bread enthusiasts that meets monthly to share, practice and enjoy the craft of bread-making. The group is open to all, of all faiths or none. We generally meet on the second Thursday of each month in the commercial kitchen in the basement of the Battell Chapel of the Norfolk UCC Church.
