Serving Love on Thanksgiving

This week, a dedicated crew of Norfolk Food Pantry volunteers and members of the Church of Christ Community put the Church’s mission into action: Learning, Living and Serving Love. Over 70 Thanksgiving Baskets were thoughtfully and lovingly prepared for distribution before the holiday. The Ministry of Bread group met to bake delectable cranberry orange loaves to be included. Countless community members donated turkeys, and provided financial support, as well as their time and energy to prepare and distribute baskets. Special thanks to Lisa McClave and Lynn Deasy, a dynamic sister-duo, for flawlessly organizing this event each year! We also want to thank all of the fabulous Food Pantry volunteers who helped with this effort, along with everyone who provided donations of turkeys and financial support to make this outreach possible!
