What on earth (or in Heaven) is a “Conversation Sunday?”

Several times a year, usually on the 2nd Sunday of a month, we do not worship in the traditional white Meeting House church building for worship. Instead, we gather in our beautiful Battell Chapel. Instead of a “normal” worship service we have a “Conversation Sunday.” It’s an informal worship time with coffee and snacks and small groups around tables where we consider themes chosen for the day and have spirited and spirit-led conversations followed by sharing from the small groups. This video only shows about a minute of the actual conversation time, because everybody is engaged in the conversation, but all of the resulting sharing is shown. This particular Sunday, May 11, 2025, was Mother’s Day so Pastor Erick chose that theme. For those who are not familiar with these services, this will give you a pretty good idea of what they entail, and how much fun, community building and meaningful they are.
