A Most Generous Community

This is the recent donation of food to the Norfolk Food Pantry by the Norfolk Lion’s Club. The Lion’s Club has an arrangement with on online retailer to buy pallets of miscellaneous food, beverage and clothing inexpensively. The funds are raised by events like the pancake breakfast (coming up this Saturday, May 10, 2025). The club buys the pallets and donates the goods to the community.

Another generous donor to the Norfolk Food Pantry is the Berkshire Country Store. Ryan Craig, the owner, allows customers to buy selected items needed at the pantry at 25% off if they put them in the Food Pantry donation bin located in the Store. A recent bin from the store contained cereals, coffee, peanut butter, tomato sauce, soup, salt, crackers, cake mix, and more!

The Norfolk Food Pantry has greatly increased its offerings to meet a much larger demand over the past few years and now provides free food and other items to many families in the area. Donations of food or monetary donations are always welcome and needed!
