Palm Sunday Celebration

The choir brought celebration to Palm Sunday in our morning worship, and in the afternoon there was a collaborative and meaningful Palm Sunday service of Lessons and Anthems. As we continue through Holy Week, may we walk with purpose and peace. There are a number of ways to participate in this Holy Week. Our Maundy Thursday Tenebrae Service will take place April 17 at 7pm in Battell Chapel’s Tiffany Room. A Good Friday Prayer Luncheon will follow on April 18 at 12 noon in the Battell Chapel dining room. Palm Sunday reminds us that humility is the doorway to greatness. We look forward to celebrating that greatness with you on Easter Sunday (April 20) at 6am Sunrise Service at the South Norfolk Cemetery and at Easter Service at 10am in the main sanctuary.
