Making A Difference Through Service and Care
The young participants in our recent WorkCamp trip to Camden, NY told us about their experiences at the gratitude dinner last Saturday. This is lifechanging service and care both for those needing help and those offering that help. Below are before and after pictures of a porch which had been in poor condition. All of the decking was compromised, and the joints had slipped and needed reinforcement or replacement. The front edge had slipped off its foundation, which caused the roof to sag, and the safety railing was gone. The youth who went on this trip did were not quite the same before and after either. They have asked for the service work to continue, and so they will meet soon to figure out what’s next.
