Is Baking Your Love Language?

If the phrase, “Baking is love made edible,” speaks to you, UCC Norfolk’s Ministry of Bread is a group you would like to be part of! The Ministry of Bread meets on the second Thursday of the month at 6pm in the Battell Chapel commercial kitchen. Thursday, February 13 (the day before Valentine’s Day) the Ministry of Bread made the Welsh tea bread, Bara Brith. It is a very traditional, very fruity, cake-like sweet bread. Bara eBrith might be seen as the final course of a full Welsh breakfast (the Welsh are really good at breakfast) or as a tea-time treat. Fun was had by all.
