The Journey Through Holy Week

On Palm Sunday afternoon the joint choirs of the Norfolk, Falls Village and Cornwall presented “Lessons and Anthems” in beautiful Battell Chapel. The choirs sang 5 anthems interspersed with readings of scripture as well as other poetry and verse. This beautiful and meaningful service preparing us for our walk through Holy Week may (hopefully) become a treasured tradition.

Our Holy Week journey continues Thursday with the ancient traditions of Communion and the Tenebrae, scripture passages from just after the Last Supper to the Crucifixion, read in the Shadow of the Cross. On Good Friday there will be a simple soup and bread luncheon and prayer service.
