The Post Office Delivers
Every year the Postal Service has a one day food drive where food is collected by carriers who have home mail service. Also, folks who have a postal box will bring food to the post office. The central collection is done at the Winsted PO. Then they divide up the food to distribute to all the involved towns. When Lynn Deasy picked up the Norfolk donation in Winsted they gave her 14 white postal boxes that were all filled to the brim. Amazing collection of a great variety of food! Much appreciated!
