Soldiering On

Our Pastor has been on a well-deserved three month sabbatical and is not due back until the middle of next month. In the meantime, we have been hearing from delightful guest speakers, including Colebrook’s Kathy Loomis, seated behind the pulpit above. This past Sunday our Minister of Music, Liz Allyn, was also away so we were treated to music by Nancy Herzig and Debbie Storrs, at right above. Ruth Adott, standing, delivered our Light of Service message for Fishes and Loaves, and Heather Thomson, seated near the front pew, was our reader. In addition we have had three delightful “Conversation Sundays” (see the Home page) with one more to come on September 13 before our Pastor’s return. Do we miss Pastor Erick? Of course we do, and will be glad to welcome him back. But in the meantime we are doing fine, soldiering on.
