Generosity Abounds!
This year, the Angel Tree project, led by Lisa McClave and Lynn Deasy, set a record in terms of the generosity of the givers. Nearly 60 local children are recipients of the hundreds of gifts purchased and lovingly wrapped by members of the Church of Christ and Norfolk community at large. The gratitude, joy and in many cases, relief expressed by the parents upon picking up their Angel Tree gifts is palpable. Thank you to all who supported this effort, for generously buying, wrapping and delivering not only physical gifts, but the gift of joy to so many local families this season! A special thank you to Lisa McClave and Lynn Deasy for coordinating this effort each year!
