PRIDE Celebration
June is Pride Month! Norfolk Church of Christ Congregational celebrated our LGBTQ+ family and friends at our Picnic for Pride last weekend. A delightful dinner of homemade chili and desserts was prepared by volunteers from the Norfolk Food Pantry. Preparations were made by our Just Humanity team and many other volunteers who pivoted to move the picnic inside due to impending thunderstorms. Thank you to all who helped to support this inclusive and joyful celebration of love, food, activities, and diversity! The gorgeous painting above is an original work of art by Robin Rose Yuran.
