Earth Day Children’s Event
Last Sunday, a fun-loving group of kiddos attended our Earth Day Children’s Day event here at Church of Christ. We co-sponsored the morning with Great Mountain Forest as part of the Norfolk Nature Alliance. Children took part in an Earth-Day themed worship service, followed by some dynamic movement in the Chapel and a craft and story hour. Smiles were abundant as the next generation of environmental stewards took part in this fun and engaging event! Special thanks to Kristin Mudge for leading the children in movement, to the Chausse family for helping with story hour and crafts, Vicki Nelson for organizing, Bill Eckert and Jan Graham-Jones for providing photos and helping to facilitate, and to all of the families who participated.
